As part of the annual tour of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, we designed a poster to promote the exhibition of Faculty 3. The event offers students the opportunity to publicly present their projects from the fields of design, technology and innovation.
The design visually picks up on the theme of innovation and diversity: A stylised robot emerges from a human head split down the middle - a metaphor for the creative symbiosis of humans and technology, as can be felt in many of the department's student projects. The faces flanking it on the left and right symbolise diversity and individuality among the students.
Particular attention was paid to a clear, eye-catching layout and a powerful colour scheme based on the university's corporate design. The use of large typographic elements (year, title) ensures a modern, striking effect in public spaces.
